We installed 4 of these racks in our previous home and liked them so much we ordered more for our new home. It's a great way to use the space between the garage door and the ceiling. After installing one rack, the others were a breeze. It's nice that their height is adjustable so they can go in virtually any garage. We use them for storing camping equipment and out-of-season sporting goods, and they're a great place to hide gifts from the kids!

These are the best storage shelves for your garage. They really maximize your storage abilities w/out taking up floor space so you can walk around freely. I bought four of them and have no regrets. They are worth every penny I spent on them and if my garage was bigger I would of bought even more. Also they are pretty easy to install w/clear instructions.

Negatives: No instructions included and the one's available on the Hy-Loft website would not print completely, but since I'm not a total moron they were adequate to guide me through the process.

Hint: Rather than making a template or trying to accurately measure 69" across your garage ceiling it's easier assemble the support rods, attach one end to your joist and then take the other end and mark the appropriate location. Saves a lot of time.

Positives: Sturdy and strong and fantastic use of "dead space".
